Jordan Lake: Fed by the Haw and New Hope
rivers, Jordan serves as a reservoir for several
triangle communities and flood control for the Cape
Fear River. Jordan offers plenty of different types
of cover for the bass to enjoy, everything from
roadbeds to shallow brush and laydowns.  It is not
uncommon to come across a school of stripers or
white bass in late spring or early summer for a few
minutes of fast and furious fishing.

Falls Lake: Part of the Neuse river, Falls serves
as a reservoir for Raleigh and surrounding areas.
The Lower part of the lake resembles a river with
steep bluff banks and scattered laydowns extending
into deep water. The upper end is shallow with alot
of brush and stumps.  Points, channels and numerous
brush piles can make for excellent deep water fishing.

Harris Lake: Harris Lake serves as a cooling
reservoir for Progress Energy's Shearon Harris
Nuclear power plant.  Primary cover in this lake
comes in the form of vegitation, hydrilla, primrose,
lilly pads ect.  Harris usually remains pretty clear
allowing for great sight fishing for spawners
throughout the spring.  Chain pickeral and bowfin
are also plentiful at Harris.

Cape Fear River: The section that we fish is
where the Haw river (just under the Jordan Lake dam)
and Deep river converge to form the Cape Fear River.
The river offers more laydowns than you can shake
an Ugly Stik at.  There are also feeder creeks off of
the main river.  Not many anglers know about the
fishing potential that the river offers, therefore it
does not get alot of fishing pressure or boat traffic.
